Something Terrible Has Happened!
Good news: you (and three others) survived the apocalypse.
Bad news: you have to agree on what to do next.
This is a narrative-driven game with branching paths.
As a submission to the Heritage Game Jam, it explores the idea of heritage as he outcome of spontaneous, and often unplanned, interactions and decisions. How can we know which of our choices will matter, and which won't?
In this case, you can play until the end to find out!
---
UPDATE:
After a bit more work, we've uploaded a version of the game that should be playable and include all the assets we had prepared for the jam! We hope this allows you to enjoy the story to completion. While this current version represents the scope we intended to submit for the jam, we see clear areas for improvement we intend to follow up on still :)
Please do feel free to flag any remaining bugs! We're keen to stay active and fix any that come up. The worst and potentially game-crashing of them should be avoidable if you can space out your presses, and avoid spamming the spacebar key!
---
NOTE:
THIS IS AN UNFINISHED, UNPOLISHED GAME JAM SUBMISSION. We have not yet managed to incorporate the sound/music, animation, and narrative features prepared for the game. In addition, we were not able to remove all bugs/crashes, and specifically have noticed the final scene does not load in some cases. We apologize for any unexpected inconvenience in the current gameplay experience!

Very gripping plot and story! It can potentially be a statement about decision-making, teamwork and leadership, or more! Hope y'all can find the time to finish this :)
